Miss Meg's New Arrival!

Meg and Ken Capozzi are overjoyed to announce the arrival of  Hunter Sebastian Capozzi born April 2 at 5:39 p.m. 7lbs 9oz and 20 inches. Mom and baby are doing well and looking forward to being home from the hospital in a few days.

How many of you received a Kindle, a Kobo, or Nook recently and are wondering how to download a book from Overdrive? There is a place to go for help. Click on the Biblomation Audio Book Downloads icon on the right to get to Overdrive. Once you are there look for MY HELP on the left hand side. All the information you need is there online. You can always ask a librarian for further information.

Want to learn a new language? Rocket Languages is a service that YOUR library offers you in response to frequent and persistent inquiries from residents for resources to assist them in learning a second language. The library has contracted with Library Ideas, LLC to provide Rocket Languages, a collection of comprehensive online language learning programs for any of 10 different languages including American Sign Language. Free to use by Beacon Falls Public Library card holders, the Nicholas A. Bielik Fund was tapped to cover the initial one-time set-up fee. Once you click on one of these links or the picture above, you will need to create an account for yourself. This procedure is temporary while the company works on the automatic authentication process for you to input only your library card number to access the website. There is NO cost to you as an individual. Please let Marsha know via the Contact page if you experience any difficulties.
